Business damaged by fire in Forward Township

FORWARD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A fire at an Allegheny County business kept emergency crews busy for hours late Wednesday into early Thursday.

It started around 10:33 p.m. at Dryer Industries along Church Hollow Road in Forward Township.

The flames swept through a maintenance building of the small business which employs 14 people. The fire left remnants of a pickup truck and charred equipment in its path.
