BUTLER, Pa. — Butler City police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they said slashed 30 or more tires.
Police believe the damage happened in less than an hour over the weekend.
Investigators said most of the slashings happened to cars parked in the Westside and Avenues areas of the city of Butler sometime Sunday night or early Monday morning.
Police released a surveillance image of the man wanted in connection with the crimes on Tuesday.
“I think it’s pretty rude. Shame on them for doing this,” said victim Dana Oliver.
“I thought Halloween was over,” Butler resident Josh Minehart said.
Anyone with information should call 724-287-7743.
