Chen and Tang working to open new Novo Asian Food Hall in the Strip District Terminal this summer

The duo of local Asian restaurateurs behind Everyday Noodles and Mola Sushi are moving forward with a name and a design for their new Asian food hall in the Strip District Terminal.

According to an announcement, Mike Chen, perhaps best now know for Everyday Noodles but involved in many others, and Alex Tang of Mola Sushi have named the new dining destination slated for the Strip District Terminal Novo Asian Food Hall.

Working with Strip District-based architecture firm AE7, Chen and Tang are expecting to open Novo Asian Food Hall this summer in the 8,600-square-foot space in the redeveloped terminal building.

With the project now under construction at a 1931 Smallman section of the five-block-long terminal, Tang emphasized to expect something new for Pittsburgh in a prepared statement as guiding their branding approach for the name.
