COhatch bringing shared space coworking approach to three prime retail locations in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — COhatch, seeking to share more than just office space, is launching an aggressive expansion plan in the Pittsburgh market as it works to bring its version of coworking to three prime retail locations with more expected.

It’s an approach the Ohio-based company is accelerating to cater to potential clients closer to where they live as the pandemic festers on and work habits continue to change.

To start, the company has bought the three-story, 13,000-square-foot building at 5428 Walnut St. in Shadyside, a one-time Talbots store, for what will likely be the first COhatch in Pittsburgh.
