PITTSBURGH — A teenage shooting victim was honored Friday with a community center named after him.
Jeron Grayson was shot and killed two years ago in Washington County.
"Our youngest son was shot and killed senselessly. He was an innocent student who was so excited to matriculate at Hampton University,” said the Rev. Glenn Grayson.
On Friday afternoon, the nonprofit group the Center that Cares held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Jeron X. Grayson Community Center.
This is at a former after-school rec center on Enoch Street in Pittsburgh’s Crawford-Roberts neighborhood.
