Consumer alert lifted at Ross Twp. sushi buffet

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A consumer alert has been lifted at a Ross Township restaurant, just days after health inspectors found approximately 30 foods that either weren’t hot enough or cold enough.

Tokyo Sushi Buffet had a yellow sticker posted on the door for two days.

On Monday, a green passing sticker was put up after inspectors came back on Saturday and found all the problems had been fixed.

Owner Anny Liu told Target 11 consumer investigator Robin Taylor, “Tell customers ‘Don’t worry. Everything is OK.’”

Inspectors will be back within the next 30 days to make sure the restaurant is still following proper procedures.
