Crash snarls traffic on Parkway East during rush hour

PITTSBURGH — A crash is causing major traffic backups on the Parkway East.

PennDOT says the multi-vehicle crash is located on I-376 eastbound near the Beechwood Boulevard exit.

Currently, the right lane is disrupted and the right shoulder is blocked.

Traffic cameras show backups stretching well past Bates Street.

It’s unclear how many vehicles are involved in the crash and if anyone was injured.
