None — PITTSBURGH -- Police are investigating after several cars were damaged after one driver's wild ride on Mount Washington.
The incident happened at about 1 a.m. Monday along Natchez Street, police said.
Police said they believe a drunken driver struck one car, spinning it completely around. The driver then struck several other cars, causing one to go over a hillside.
The owner of that car, Anthony Morena, said he heard a loud noise just as he was getting ready for bed.
"I looked out the door and seen my car gone," Morena said.
Channel 11 News talked with one woman whose car was damaged.
“It was totaled,” said victim Nicole Powell. “Air bags went off, everything. I have a $500 deductible, and I just paid off my car a couple weeks ago. So, I'm not really too happy right now. "
Investigators said a total of eight cars were damaged.
The driver was taken into custody. So far, there is no word on what charges he may face.
