Family seeks help finding missing New Castle man

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — A local family is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.

Christopher Story’s father, Phillip, said his son went missing on Aug. 11 from Liberty Street in New Castle.

Story is 40 years old and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts, a dark hat and dark shoes.

“It’s been nine days now, and we are praying that he’s still out there,” Phillip Story said.

Phillip Story said his son takes medication and suffers from hallucinations when he fails to take them. He said Christopher was recently switched to a generic brand and he thinks that is what may have led to his disappearance.

“Whenever he gets off that medication or has an incorrect dosage he imagines things. He’s irritable and he’s jittery,” Phillip Story said.

Family members have hung hundreds missing person flyers throughout New Castle.

“I think I’m holding up better than my wife. I keep telling her to pray for the best and prepare for the worst,” Phillip Story said.

Anyone with information on Christopher Story’s whereabouts should contact police.
