LATROBE, Pa. — This article originally appeared on SteelersNOW.com.
Pittsburgh Steelers’ seventh-round pick Eli Heidenreich did not practice on Friday for the second straight day, with a hamstring injury that is not expected to be serious. He is considered day-to-day.
Heidenreich was spotted walking out to practice without pads on Thursday as the rest of the team prepared for its third padded practice. He did not suffer an obvious injury in the team’s last public practice on Tuesday, but the Steelers had a closed-door walkthrough on Wednesday.
A seventh-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Heidenreich has had a tough time finding team reps through the early part of training camp.
