BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — Emergency dispatchers confirmed that EMS workers treated a firefighter at the scene of a fire in Beaver Falls Friday night.

The cause or extent of the firefighter’s injury was not immediately known.
The fire started in a garage on Third Avenue shortly after 10 p.m., dispatchers said.
Crews at the scene said the fire was extinguished just after 11 p.m.
No additional information was immediately available.
