Former President George W. Bush to appear at conference in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Former President George W. Bush will be in Pittsburgh later this year to speak at an oil and gas resources conference, officials announced Tuesday.

The Dug Convention will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in November.

Dug focuses on identifying and discovering unconventional resources, and President Bush will be the keynote speaker at a luncheon on the first full day of the event.

The convention draws hundreds of gas and oil executives from around the world.
