An additional corruption charge and a charge of institutional sexual assault related to an incident involving a different student have now been added.

The new charges were brought on by a 17-year-old female student who said McLaughlin approached her and then proceeded to grope her in a classroom.
County detectives were told by the girl that McLaughlin also showed her inappropriate photos of himself.

McLaughlin taught social studies and coached soccer before his arrest.
