Heinz searching for ‘ketchup boat guy’

Heinz is asking people to help them find the “ketchup boat guy.”

According to Heinz, the ketchup boat guy is a man named Elvis Francois.

NBC News says Francois is 47 years old and a native of Dominica. They say he was making repairs to his boat when he was swept out to sea.

Francois was stranded for 24 days and survived off of nothing but ketchup and spices. He was rescued by the Colombian Navy about 120 nautical miles away from the coast.

Heinz said they want to celebrate the man by buying him a new boat but can not find a way to reach him.

Anyone with information on how Heinz can contact Francois is asked to reach out to them on social media.
