At least 1 person injured after crash in Penn Hills

PENN HILLS, Pa. — At least 1 person had to be taken to a hospital after a crash in Penn Hills.

Allegheny Couty dispatchers say police, firefighters and medics were called to Sandy Creek Road at around 1:28 p.m. on Thursday.

Two SUVs appeared to have crashed into one another.

A red SUV had heavy damage to the front, with the hood of the vehicle appearing to be almost entirely knocked off.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
