PITTSBURGH — Many Steelers fans were disappointed after Le’Veon Bell suffered a season-ending MCL injury in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals earlier this month.
After tweeting on Saturday that his knee surgery went well, Bell received a lot of well wishes and support from fans on social media.

Not all messages were so positive though, as one fan tweeted he was “glad” Bell tore his ACL.
Bell politely corrected the user, saying that it was his MCL, not ACL that was damaged, and then said he hopes the fan’s day brightens up because no one should be that upset.
Bell has kept a positive mindset throughout his injury, tweeting multiple uplifting messages last week.
