PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Narcotics detectives arrested a man wanted in connection with a toddler treated for a gunshot wound on Glasgow Street on Sept. 26.
The toddler arrived at the Allegheny General Hospital’s emergency entrance in a private vehicle before the child was rushed to UPMC Children’s hospital in critical condition, according to police.

The toddler was upgraded to stable condition the following Monday morning.
Derrick Brandon was taken into custody on the North Side and is now in the Allegheny County Jail.
He will be charged with endangering the welfare of a child and recklessly endangering another person.
