None - McCANDLESS, Pa. -- A suspected drunken driver died after crashing in a parking lot after leaving a popular bar in McCandless on Sunday.

McCandless police were called to J.Clark's Bar when Benjamin Bibler, of Pittsburgh, got into an argument with several employees there.

The bar manager said Bibler did not initially appear intoxicated after two beers and a shot of tequila.

However the bartender said he tried calling Bibler a cab, but workers said he got into his car and reportedly backed into a police cruiser before fleeing.

Police said Bibler then drove across McKnight Road with his lights off and crashed into a tree in the nearby movie theater parking lot.

“It's scary to see a car coming at you with no lights on, flying through the parking lot at night  80, 70, 80 mph,” one witness said.

McCandless police and Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating.
