Man hospitalized after shooting in Stowe Township

STOWE TOWNSHIP — A man was taken to a hospital after a shooting in Allegheny County, police say.

Allegheny County dispatchers sent police and medics to Broadway Avenue in Stowe Township for reports of a shooting at around 9:54 p.m.

Medics on the scene found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

The man is expected to survive.
