PITTSBURGH — A man was shot multiple times Sunday in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood.
Police were sent to the 7300 block of Frankstown Avenue just after 9 p.m. for two ShotSpotter alerts of 31 rounds, according to the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department.
Officers were on their way when they found a man in the 7300 block of Race Street who’d been shot in the arms and legs.
Officers put tourniquets on the man until medics arrived and took him to the hospital. He was last said to be stable.
The man was reportedly awake and able to talk with medics while being transported.
Investigators found the crime scene on Frankstown Avenue, where shell casings were recovered.
The investigation is ongoing. There’s been no word yet on any arrests or suspects.
