WILKINSBURG, Pa. — A man was shot more than seven times while getting his hair cut at a Wilkinsburg barber shop on Wood Street on Thursday afternoon, police said.
Police are looking for two people involved in the shooting, which caused some families to forgo trick-or-treating.
"It's not safe, not safe at all. The kids are actually going to go home. We were at church, and they're going to enjoy some candy they got there," said parent Dana Hunter.
The barber ran for cover and wasn't hurt, police said.
Wilkinsburg High School was on lockdown for a short period on Thursday.
"It's Halloween night, and anybody's kid could have been walking past and gotten hurt," said parent Aimberlly Mills.
The shooting victim is in critical condition.
