WASHINGTON, Pa. — Officials from the Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Washington said a veteran harness-racing trainer/driver was injured during a training accident Friday.
Rod Bolon, 54, was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for observation and treatment, officials said.
Horsemen at the scene said Bolon was conscious and alert following the accident.
No other details were immediately released.
