Most Allegheny County Courts will remain closed on Wednesday because of bitter cold

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. — With another day of bitter cold ahead, most Allegheny County Courts will shut down again on Wednesday.

President Judge Susan Evashavik DiLucente ordered all Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, all Magisterial District Courts in Allegheny County and Pittsburgh Municipal Court to close.

Arraignment Court will remain open and Emergency Protection from Abuse Orders can be obtained at the arraignment court on First Avenue.

Courts were also closed on Tuesday because of the extreme cold.
