KARNS CITY, Pa. - A Butler County mother accused of causing a lockdown at her son’s school is now facing a new charge.

According to police, officers found drugs on 27-year-old Ashley Soose after taking her to the Butler County Prison earlier this month.

Authorities said Soose called Chicora Elementary School claiming her son’s father was on his way to the school with a gun.

Soose was charged with making terroristic threats after police found the man didn’t have a weapon.
