Motorcycle collides with ambulance near McKees Rocks Bridge

PITTSBURGH — A portion of Route 65 was closed Friday night after a motorcycle crashed into an ambulance.

Police said the motorcycle collided with the ambulance, which was not carrying a patient, near the McKees Rocks Bridge.

The emergency medical technicians in the ambulance suffered minor injuries. They transported the driver of the motorcycle to Allegheny General Hospital in critical condition.

Route 65 has since reopened.
