Multiple injuries reported in 2-car crash in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Two cars were involved in a serious car accident Wednesday night in Lawrence County.

Dispatchers from 911 said the crash was reported just after 5 p.m. on Wilmington Road in New Castle.

According to police, one person was ejected, and two helicopters were sent to the scene to transport victims to local hospitals.

Officials have not said how many people were injured in the crash.
