MUST SEE: Local woman uses popular dance to support sister with ovarian cancer

PITTSBURGH — There may be no greater love, no stronger bond than that of sisters. And the love between a Pittsburgh woman and her sister is touching the hearts of millions of people on social media.

Ingram native Jennifer LaFace took her dance moves to Facebook recently in support of her sister. LaFace posts silly dance videos of herself regularly to show her support for her sister who is battling ovarian cancer.

In one video, LaFace performs a version of “The Dougie.” She admits, she’s not a professional, but nonetheless was able to send the video to her sister as she began her seventh chemotherapy treatment.

LaFace’s video was shared widely on the sight and has garnered millions of views.

"I'm not really good at the dance so I just do my own kind of dance. I am not a follower. I am the leader of my own weird band," LaFace jokingly states. "I love you. You're going to kick cancer's [expletive] today. Yea, I know it, cause you're a bad [expletive] sister. I love you with all my heart. All my soul. And that's about it for today. I love you. I adore you. I admire you. Later gator."

Wednesday also happened to be LaFace's sisters birthday. If you'd like to wish her a Happy Birthday you can do so on the WPXI-TV Pittsburgh Facebook page.
