PITTSBURGH — Comcast says that almost all services have been restored after a nationwide outage affected television and Internet customers Monday.
According to the company's website, Pittsburgh is among the cities that were affected. Others include Chicago, Seattle, Denver, Houston, Portland, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Washington and Minneapolis.

Channel 11 News received several calls from customers in the Pittsburgh area who were affected by the outage, which began Monday morning.
The company released the following statement shortly before 1 p.m.:
"We're continuing to investigate what appears to be a temporary network interruption that impacted some of our services this morning. Our engineers have been working on this and services are starting to be restored. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers."
A follow-up statement was released shortly after 1:30 p.m.:
"We have repaired the temporary network interruption that impacted some of our services this morning. Our engineers continue to work on this issue and almost all services have already been restored. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers."
