FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. — The new Sundial Lodge at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort will open on Christmas Eve, just in time for this year’s ski season.
The building was reconstructed after fire destroyed the original Sundial Ski Lodge on Feb. 12, 2012.
In addition to the ski operations and rental shop, the new facility will offer new amenities like a bar, bowling alleys and arcade games, as well as a retail shop and Adventure Headquarters.
The new lodge will still have a touch of the past with the original sundial sculpture, which survived the blaze, standing at the entrance.
The Sundial Lodge will offer dining and activity options year-round.
