• NRA hosting ‘banned guns' raffle to raise money for ‘2nd Amendment battle'

    Updated:

PITTSBURGH - While the Obama Administration would like to ban certain guns the National Rifle Association is giving them away.

One of Channel 11’s Washington Bureau correspondents received an email to sign up for the NRA’s “Banned Gun” online raffle.

According to the website, the organization is raffling off 12 rifles, including semi-automatics.

The raffle is free, but the NRA is asking for a $5 donation for each entry. The group said they will use the money raised in “the battle to protect the Second Amendment.”
