Investigators told Channel 11's Amy Marcinkiewicz that police had been watching the home for about two months before Thursday's bust.
“This was a meth lab, and it could be dangerous if it had exploded and harmed people in this neighborhood,” New Sewickley Police Chief Ron Leindecker said.

Authorities took Kevin Hadsell into custody. Police said they found more drug paraphernalia in his home and truck.
“We’re glad we found this and we’re glad we can put an end to this,” Leindecker said.
Residents of the community filled with children were suspicious about what might have been going on inside the shed.
“We were wondering what was going on at all hours of the night inside that shed. We knew it was something,” a community member said.
Police said their investigation is continuing, and there could be more people involved.
