PITTSBURGH — UPDATE: The outbound lanes of the Liberty Tunnel have reopened.
A crash has shut down the outbound lanes of a major tunnel in Pittsburgh.
PennDOT announced around 2:30 p.m. that the outbound lanes of the Liberty Tunnel were closed due to a multi-vehicle crash.
Emergency personnel are on scene.
Per PennDOT’s 511 map, the outbound lanes aren’t expected to open until at least 4:30 p.m.
