Authorities told Channel 11 News the man and woman suffered burns to their arms and legs. They were taken to a hospital, where the father was treated and released.
Firefighters said the fire began in a back bedroom, and some wrapped presents that were inside the home may still be salvageable.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Neighbors are pulling together to try to help the family.
"As a neighborhood we were all posting on Facebook if anyone can donate clothes. I know we were going to get some clothes or some toys for them,” Katie Boyle said.
The children are staying with their grandfather.
