PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese has announced more consolidations beginning in June.
Starting June 4, a new parish will be formed called St. Maria Goretti. It will include parishioners from St. Lawrence O'Toole in Garfield and Immaculate Conception St. Joseph in Bloomfield.
The parishioners at St. Matthew in Lawrenceville will become part of St. Raphael in Morningside.
Bishop David Zubik announced the plans at masses this weekend.
