Pittsburgh police investigating sexual assault of Duquesne student

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police are investigating after a Duquesne University student reported that she was sexually assaulted Wednesday morning.

According to an alert sent to employees and students, the female student was walking in the 1000 block of Watson Alley behind the Barnes & Noble around 11:30 a.m. when three black men approached her.

The three men then forced her to go with them to an apartment on Crawford Street near the City View Apartment building, the alert said. According to the alert, the victim said she was sexually assaulted at the apartment and had money and a credit card stolen from her.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Pittsburgh police by calling 911.
