PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers have reportedly banned safety Mike Mitchell from using Twitter.
The decision was made after Mitchell allegedly called one critical follower “trash” and told another to “kill yourself.”
During Monday night’s game, one follower tweeted, “You are the worst signing in franchise history. Please retire and give back the money you are stealing.”
After the game, Mitchell allegedly responded with a private message saying, “Lol I’ll do no such thing. You on the other hand kill yourself.”
On Wednesday, Coach Mike Tomlin said he will keep his discipline of Mitchell “in-house.”
Ike Taylor told Channel 11’s Bill Phillips that if you have to think about what you’re about to send, don’t do it.
