HARMONY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police said a babysitter used his phone to spy on a 14-year-old girl in the shower.
Harmony Township police said Jason Hrinko admitted to standing outside a window and watching a naked 14-year-old in the bathroom.
"He didn't know why he did it. He said it was a mistake," said Chief Jim Essex.
Police said he used the camera on his phone and maneuvered it so he could see the girl.
According to police, Hrinko told the girl, "I don't want to sound like your mother, but go get your shower."
The girl told her mom she looked up and saw his phone peeking through the bedroom window.
Police said she texted her mom, "He's taking pictures of me."
Channel 11 stopped by Hrinko's home. He wasn't home, but neighbors said they were surprised by the allegations.
"I'm shocked. He's a nice guy. Always waving and saying hi," said neighbor Mike Willard.
Hrinko is charged with invasion of privacy.
