The school bus and the van next to it that also caught fire were not in service.
The fire from the vehicles also caused the side of the gas station to catch on fire.
The owner of Rickett’s Transportation told Channel 11’s Jennifer Tomazic he has been parking his buses that serve Pittsburgh Public Schools in the lot for a year and a half.
He said he believes that someone intentionally set this bus on fire, but did not speculate as to who it might have been.
No other buses owned by Rickett’s Transportation were damaged.
