NORTH SHORE — Pittsburgh police are investigating after a man was stabbed during an apparent fight at Tequila Cowboy on Pittsburgh’s North Shore Saturday evening.
“I’m shocked! Looks like such a safe area,” said Angie Clare of Houston.
People visiting and hanging out on the North Shore couldn’t believe what unfolded at the crowded bar this past weekend.
Police were called there for a fight around 10 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a man stabbed multiple times in the back and lower back area.
The suspect was gone.

“To be stabbed in the back and they run away like… Very scary,” said Clare.
Police confirm the victim was hurt during an apparent fight with a man and a woman reportedly inside the establishment.
Police say after the fight the man and woman rushed out of the bar and drove off.
“That’s crazy! It’s unbelievable. I wouldn’t even imagine this area something like this happening,” said Brian Lujan, who was visiting town for the Pittsburgh Steelers game.
