Andre Robinson was last seen the evening of March 7, leaving his Glenn Street home in Wilmerding. He told his family and girlfriend that he’d be right back, but hasn’t been heard from since then.
Authorities are working to secure search warrants on Robinson’s cell phone and bank accounts, hoping they might hold some clues in his disappearance.
Robinson’s family has posted fliers throughout the neighborhood as well as in Beltzhoover, where he has other relatives.
His family said his Facebook page has been inactive since the night he went missing. Meanwhile, North Versailles police told Channel 11 that pings to Robinson’s cell phone indicate it’s either turned off or the battery is dead.
Loved ones said that most troublesome of all, Robinson missed his 20th birthday on Easter Sunday, a special occasion they said he always shares with family and friends.
His mother, Leslie Robinson, said she clings to hope for her son’s safe return, but with each passing day, she fears the worst.
“He's so trusting, and he'll be with anybody,” she said. “He has stayed gone a few days but never this long without saying anything.”
Leslie Robinson said the family has hired a private investigator and has issued a $2,500 reward for anyone who has information in regard to Andre Robinson’s whereabouts.
