PITTSBURGH — Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Pittsburgh’s Beechview neighborhood Monday afternoon.
Pittsburgh police said the robbery took place around 3:45 p.m. at the Wesbanco bank at 1550 Beechview Ave.

Investigators said a man entered the bank and gave a teller a note demanding money. He left the bank with the note and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a clean-shaven black man with a light complexion and a chunky build, weighing about 250 to 300 pounds and approximately 6 feet tall.
He was last seen wearing a plaid flannel jacket that was black with white going through it and a black knitted hat.
Authorities said the man was seen arriving and leaving the scene as a passenger in a four-door white vehicle, possibly a Nissan or a Ford.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Pittsburgh police.
