NORTH HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police seized drugs from a vape shop in Westmoreland County.
According to Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli, authorities raided Star Smoke and Vape on Route 30 in North Huntingdon Township on Thursday.
Before the raid, they made several undercover purchases at the shop after receiving tips that employees were selling to underage people.
Officers took illegal Delta 8, Delta 9, and THCA products from the store. They said all Delta 8 products are illegal in the Commonwealth, and Delta 9 products containing a concentration higher than 3% are also considered illegal.
The raid was the result of a joint investigation between North Huntingdon Township Police, Westmoreland County Detectives, and state agents with the Westmoreland County Drug Task Force.
