Race for Democrat Mike Doyle’s seat in Congress becoming tense

ALLEGHENY COUNTY — Next Tuesday, voters will choose who will fill Democrat Mike Doyle’s seat in Congress as he retires after 25 years.

The district covers part of Allegheny County and a portion of Westmoreland County.

The race is a crowded one, and with just over a week to go until the primary election, it’s getting ugly.
