Rain, warmer temperatures expected for Saturday

PITTSBURGH, Pa — Saturday morning is expected to bring some scattered showers with a thunderstorm watch in the areas south and east of Pittsburgh.

There is a 30 percent chance of rain between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., but the rain won’t be widespread throughout the region.

As the temperatures increase into the afternoon and early evening, the wind is expected to pick up as well, with gusts reaching about 25 mph, making for a breezy spring day.

The high for the day will be 62 degrees, and the low will be 37.
