PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police are searching for a 22-year-old intensive care nurse who hasn't been seen or heard from in a week.
Friends tell Paul Kochu's family they last saw him at his South Side apartment around 1:30 a.m., Dec. 16.
They say Paul Kochu disappeared while they were getting fast food after helping him with a cut on his hand.
Paul Kochu's father said his son's wallet and keys were gone but his car was still outside his apartment.
"If anyone knows anything or has seen Paul, and even if it's something, maybe the smallest little thing that would make a difference in giving the detectives here who have been working so diligently to locate our son, just the smallest clue, we would appreciate it immensely,” said Paul Kochu’s mother, Ellen Kochu.

Ellen Kochu said she hopes that information could give investigators the break they need to find her son, a Pottstown native who graduated from Duquesne University and works at Allegheny General Hospital.
"We're just begging anyone, if you know anything, to please contact the Pittsburgh police,” she said.
Divers searched near Riverfront Park Friday and volunteers posted fliers over the weekend. On Tuesday, the family continued to hand out fliers and then headed back to Pottstown with faith that Paul Kochu will be found safe.
"It's just too painful to stay here anymore, and we have left our trust in Detective Abraham and the missing persons (unit) and the detectives here and police force in Pittsburgh to help find our son,” said Ellen Kochu.
Some of Paul Kochu’s co-workers at Allegheny General Hospital and his roommates attended a vigil Tuesday evening for his safe return.
Paul Kochu is described as 6 feet tall and about 180 pounds. His family is offering a $7,500 reward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact 911 or 412-323-7141.
