It will take at least a week to repair, according to officials.
The pool will remain closed, while the repair work will also limit activity at the Veteran’s Pavilion and the track and tennis courts.
The electrical malfunction caused a power outage at various facilities in the park, including the ice rink that is closed this summer for construction.
