Men wearing Halloween masks rob Shaler Twp. pizza delivery driver

SHALER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police in Shaler Township said a pizza delivery driver was robbed by two men wearing Halloween masks late Tuesday night.

Investigators said the driver works for Frank's Pizza, located in Shaler Plaza.

Officers said someone called the store to place an order for a delivery to a home on Morgan Avenue in Etna.

The manager of the store said when the driver arrived at the home, there were no lights on and he discovered the phone number was fake.

Police said the robbers, who were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and masks, were waiting for the driver. Investigators said they stole $300 and the pizza.

Officers said they are not sure if the robbers had weapons.

The driver was not hurt.

So far, no arrests have been made.
