PENN HILLS, Pa. — A sinkhole that was caused by a water main break in Penn Hills swallowed a car early Wednesday morning.
The break and sinkhole were located on Beulah Road, where crews were expected to work through the day to get the problem fixed.
Channel 11’s Jennifer Tomazic reported that Beulah Road was closed from Frankstown Road to the Churchill line until crews finished.
About 30 residents who live along Beulah Road were without water service for several hours.
Neighbors said water service returned around 2:30 p.m.
