Spotty storm chances will continue into workweek

PITTSBURGH — We’re tracking a few light showers this morning but there is no lightning or thunder. Much like yesterday, a few downpours and storms will fire this afternoon, but coverage looks spotty, which means any concerns for flooding are low today.

Spotty storm chances continue into Monday as it stays warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s. Storms ramp back up again Tuesday and early Wednesday as a cold front approaches the area. As it stands, the primary concern will remain heavy rain, especially in areas that got soaked this week. Behind the cold front, it will start to turn cooler and less humid Wednesday afternoon.

A secondary cold front could bring us several stray showers Thursday before a nice-looking end to the week.
