PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed free agent tight end Zach Gentry, according to a report by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The length and terms of the contract were not immediately reported.

Gentry, 26, was the Steelers’ fifth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Michigan and has played his entire NFL career in Pittsburgh.

The 6-foot-8, 265-pound Gentry blossomed as a blocker and all-around tight end over the last two seasons when he became a regular for the first time. After playing in six games in his first two seasons, Gentry played in all 34 between 2021 and 2022 and made 25 starts.
